Shirur Zonal Parents Orientation Program began today at the Shirur PHC and will run for three days. The inaugural session featured Dr. Lavanya, Medical Officer; Mr. Anil Poojari, Health Inspector; Mrs. Saraswati, LHO; Mr. Ashok Chetwadagi, SHO from PHC; Mr. Mahantesh A, Director of Birds; and Mr. Praveen, CEO of Birds, along with EI staff. The sessions focused on the importance of early intervention and therapeutic services and positioning. A total of 37 children with disabilities (CWDs) and their caregivers attended the program.
